K How to get to UAP
Universidad Adventista del Plata (UAP) is located in LIBERTADOR SAN MARTÍN, in the province of Entre Ríos (do not confuse it with Mar del Plata or La Plata, which are different cities far from our city). This is a small city (5,000 inhabitants) and it is located in a quiet place, in the countryside, 60 km away from Paraná, the capital city of the province. The city of Buenos Aires (capital city of Argentina) is about 450 km to the south (6 hours by bus).
From the international airport of Buenos Aires (Ezeiza)
Airport to Downtown
Ask for the bus company MANUEL TIENDA LEÓN. This company takes you downtown in 45 minutes. Once you arrive there, ask for the Retiro Bus Station [Terminal de Ómnibus de Retiro] (which is about 3,000 meters from the Manuel Tienda León Station). The bus to Libertador San Martín leaves from there. You can ask the Manuel Tienda León bus to take you to Retiro, but you have to pay extra.
Retiro Bus Station to Libertador San Martín
In the second floor, ask for the FLECHA BUS ticket office, and buy a ticket to Libertador San Martín in Entre Ríos. There are three daily departures: 09:15, 14:20 y 23:00. It is a six-hour trip to Libertador San Martín. The cost is about $ 178 pesos The bus leaves from a platform in the first floor, at the end of the building.

The Libertador San Martín bus station is at 100 meters from the University.
From Brazil
From the border by bus
The destination is Paraná, Entre Ríos. From Foz do Iguaçu to Paraná, it is a 15-hour trip, and from Uruguaiana to Paraná, it is about 8 hours.
From Paraná to UAP – Several companies do this trip and the cost is about 12 pesos. It is a one-hour trip, more or less.
Arrival to Libertador San Martín - The Libertador San Martín bus station is 100 meters from the University.
From the border by car
From Foz do Iguaçu: take the national route 12 to Posadas, in the intersection of San José, head to the city of General Virasoro, take route 14 at the right to Paso de los Libres (it does not get into the city of Paso de los Libres) turn right to route 127, take the intersection to Viale, route 131 crosses the cities of Segui, Crespo and Libertador San Martín. It is not necessary to get to Paraná. It would be very helpful if you have a map.
From Chile or Peru
1. Traveling by bus: Once you arrive to Mendoza, you will have two options:
a. Take a bus to Paraná or
b. Take a bus to Rosario.
To Paraná, it is a 15-hour trip and to Rosario a 13-hour trip.
From Paraná to Libertador San Martín
The city of Paraná is only 60 km away from the UAP and in the bus station, you will be informed about the buses timetables to get to Libertador San Martín. Several companies do this trip and the cost is about 12 pesos. There is less time option during the weekends than in week days. It is a one-hour trip, more or less. Once you arrive to the Libertador San Martín bus station, you will be at 100 meters from the Universtity. Do not be afraid, here in Libertador San Martín, during the day and at night, you are in a safe place. You got home!
From Rosario to Libertador San Martín
Two companies do this trip: San José at 7:30, 13:00 and 16:00; and Basa at 16:45. It is a 2-to-4-hour trip, depending on the routes taken, and the cost is more or less $ 54 pesos.
Arrival to Libertador San Martín. Once you arrive to the Libertador San Martín bus station, you will be at 100 meters from the main gate of the university campus. Even if you arrive in the early morning, the security staff will guide you. Do not be afraid, here in Libertador San Martín, during the day and at night you are in a safe place. You got home!
2. Traveling by car: You will have to look for the routes leading to Paraná and then to Libertador San Martín through route 11 until you find the signs that indicate the intersection to Libertador San Martín. You can also travel to Rosario and cross the bridge over the Paraná River to the city of Victoria and take route 11 to Paraná, until you find the intersection to Libertador San Martín.
Coming from Chile by plane to the international airport of Rosario
There is the possibility to take a flight to Rosario. This city is much closer to the University than Buenos Aires. In the airport, you will have to identify a means of transportation that takes to the Rosario Bus Station, at the west of downtown Rosario.
Money exchange. Remember that inside of the country you will not be able to use your national money, not even to pay your fee at the University. Exchange the money at the airport.
